InsightBB Webmail is an email service provided by Insight Broadband. Insight has provided Internet access through cable in the Bloomington area, and now it’s bought by Comcast.
During the transition, many were without cable and internet, services like Insightbb.com webmail were delayed, and documentation on how to migrate was lacking.
Customers were advised on how to set up forwarding but not how to make changes to their email client‘s configuration to access mail on the new servers.
InsightBB Webmail Login
InsightBB webmail can usually be accessed using this link (https://webmail.insightbb.com/login). Now it has been migrated and managed by Comcast and using new server technologies.
Insight’s webmail service, owned by Insight, was about to be discontinued on August 31, 21, and a new version of Insight webmail is now available at this URL – https://webmail2.insightbb.com.
To login into the new webmail system, follow these steps –
1- Open your web browser and go to this link (https://webmail2.insightbb.com).
2- Enter your Username (the part before the “@insightbb.com” in your email address) and Password.
3- Check the Remember me checkbox (If you want to save the details for future login).
4- Select the suitable Version from Advance, Standard, Mobile, and Default.
5- Click on Login to access your webmail account.
InsightBB Webmail Forgot Password
If you ever forgot your InisightBB webmail account password. You can follow these steps to reset your Insight account as well as InsightBB webmail account password –
1- Open your browser and go to the Login page.
2- Click on password from “Forgot your username or password?“.
3- It will open a box to enter your webmail email address. Enter your email address and click on SUBMIT.
4- They will send you an email with instructions that will allow you to reset the password of your webmail account.

InsightBB Email Client Types / Version
These versions are known as – Email clients for InsightBB webmail. Let’s see what they mean:
Advanced – This version offers a complete set of Web collaboration features and works best with newer browsers and fast Internet connections.
Standard – This version offers easier accessibility when using older browsers or a slow Internet connection.
Mobile – This version is designed specifically for mobile devices.
Default – To set Default your preferred client type, change the login options in your Preferences after you log in.
InsightBB Webmail / Email Server Settings
You can easily set up your insight.com login in Outlook, Mac, Thunderbird, Android, and Windows Mail with InsightBB Email Server Settings. To use insightblog.com’s email server, copy the settings and enter them into your preferred email application or smartphone.

- 143 (non-secure)
InsightBB SMTP Incoming Mail Server:

InsightBB Webmail Configuration for Android Phone
Follow these steps to set up the webmail account on your Android Phone –
- On your Homescreen, tap the Apps icon (Depending on your device, you may not have an Apps icon on your home screen).
- Tap on Email
- Tap on the Options.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on the Account.
- Tap on Incoming Settings.
- Check Incoming Settings are correct for Username and Password.
- Enter POP Server – mail.insightbb.com.
- Choose Security Type – SSL
- Enter Port – 995.
- Tap on Done.
- Tap on Outgoing Settings.
- Tap on Outgoing Settings.
- Enter SMTP Server – mail.insightbb.com.
- Select Security Type – TLS.
- Enter Port – 465.
- Check Outgoing Settings are correct for Username and Password.
- Tap on Done.
- Tap on Home to return to the Home screen.
