Optus Webmail is a service offered by Optus that allows users to access their email account online. It provides a user-friendly interface that allows users to read, reply to, and manage their email messages from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection.

To log into your Optus Webmail account, you will need your email address and password.
Follow these steps to log in to your webmail account once you have these.
1) Open your browser and go to the Optus Webmail login page: (https://webmail.optusnet.com.au/).
2) Enter your email address (username@optusnet.com.au) in the Email Address field and type your password in the Password field.
3) Click on the LOGIN button to proceed.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be redirected to your mail inbox. You can now manage all your messages from the comfort of your home or office.
If you have forgotten your password, you can follow these steps to recover it.
1) Open your Optus Account login page (https://www.optus.com.au/my-account-login).
2) Click on the Forgot Password link below it.
3) A pop-up box will appear to enter your registered email address and Date of birth. Click on Reset Password to continue.
4) After that, follow the onscreen process, and you will get a password reset link to your email from: system.admin@optus.com.au.
5) Click on the Reset Password link in the email to reset your password.
Once you have successfully reset your password, you can log in to your Optus Webmail account with the new password.
Note:
Your Optus Account and Webmail account login details are the same.
If you want to change your Optus Webmail Password, you can follow these steps.
1) Open your Optus Webmail account and click on the Settings at the top right corner of the page.
2) Click on Change Password.
3) A new screen will open to enter your current password and new password.
4) Click on the Change Password button to save your changes.
You have successfully changed your Optus Webmail Password.
Note: Your new password should be 8 to 16 characters long with at least one number.
If you have forgotten your webmail account email address, you can follow these steps to recover it.
1) Open your Optus Webmail login page and click on Forgot email below the Email address box.
2) It will open a prompt box to enter your phone number or account number.
Note: You can find your account number on your Optus bill.
3) After that, you will receive a verification code on your registered phone number or account number to reset your email address.
4) Enter the verification code and click on the Reset Email button.
You have successfully recovered your Optus Webmail account login email address.
Note: If you do not know your registered phone number, you can contact Optus support.
To access your webmail account in Microsoft Outlook 365, follow these steps.
1) Open Outlook and Go to ‘File.’
2) Select ‘Add Account.
3) Select ‘Manual Setup or Additional Server Types‘ and click on ‘Next.
4) Select ‘IMAP‘ and click on ‘Next.
5) Enter the following details in Settings –
– Incoming mail server: mail.optusnet.com.au
– Outgoing mail server: mail.optusnet.com.au
– User Name: Your username (without @optusnet.com.au)
– Password: Your email password
6) Click on the ‘Next‘.
7) Now, enter your password and click on Connect to connect the Optus webmail account with your outlook app.
To access your webmail account on the iOS device, follow these steps.
1) Open the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad.
2) Tap on ‘Add Account.
3) Select ‘Other‘ and Tap on ‘Add Mail Account.‘
4) Enter the following details – Your Name: Your full name, Email Address: Your webmail address, Password: Your webmail password.
5) Select the email prototype by tapping either the ‘IMAP‘ or ‘POP‘ protocol button. For OptusNet email accounts, select ‘POP‘.
6) Now enter the following details –
– Incoming mail server: mail.optusnet.com.au
– Outgoing mail server: mail.optusnet.com.au
– Leave the remaining field blank
7) Tap on the ‘Save‘ button to continue.
Now you have successfully added your webmail account on your iOS device.
You can also set up an OptusNet email account on Android phones, follow these steps.
1) Open the Email app and Tap the Settings.
2) Tap on ‘Add account.’
3) Select IMAP/POP3 depending upon the protocol you use in this case, select POP3.
4) Fill in your User Name and Password.
5) The server name for the incoming mail server is mail.optusnet.com.au.
For outgoing mail servers, use smtp.optusnet.com.au
6) Tap on the ‘Next‘ and fill in the blanks with the following information –
– Incoming mail server: mail.optusnet.com.au
– Outgoing mail server: mail.optusnet.com.au
– Leave the remaining field blank.
7) Tap on ‘Next‘ to continue and enter your name if required, and tap on ‘Finish.’
You successfully added your webmail account on an Android device.
