Redtail Webmail – Login & Email Settings

Redtail webmail is an email web-based client designed to work with the Zimbra mail server (Redtail Technology Webmail). It is a simple, easy and effective way for users to access their emails on the internet.

Steps to Login into Redtail Webmail

1. To access Redtail Webmail, open your browser and go to this URL.

2. After you click on the link above, enter your username in the format of [your Redtail username]@redtailtechnology.com.

3. Next, enter your Redtail password and press sign In.

Redtail webmail is now open for your use; click on the email you wish to read or reply to. Redtail Webmail also has contacts, folders, and drafts. These options are accessible with a simple left-click on the drop-down menu arrow.

Steps to Reset Redtail Webmail Password:

1) Click on Forgot Password from the Redtail Webmail Login page.

2) It will open a new window. Enter your Redtail username and click Submit.

3) A Password Reset link will be sent via email to the Redtail email address associated with your webmail account.

4) Click on the Reset Password link from a Redtail-related email in your Mailbox or through a spam filter.

Redtail will then confirm that your account password was reset successfully.

Redtail Webmail / Email Server Settings:

If you want to setup Email clients to access the webmail emails then you should know the IMAP, POP3 server settings for Redtail Webmail. Here the settings details:

For IMAP connections

• Server Name: mail.redtailtechnology.com (No security)
• Server Port: 993 (Secure connection port)
• Username: Redtail username@redtailtechnology.com (Can be firstname.lastname@redtailtechnology.com)
• Connection Security: SSL/TLS or None (No security)
• Authentication Method: Normal Password

For SMTP connections

• Server Name: mail.redtailtechnology.com (No security)
• Server Port: 465, 587, or 25 (Secure connection port)
• Username: Redtail username@redtailtechnology.com (Can be firstname.lastname@redtailtechnology.com)
• Connection Security: SSL/TLS or None (No security)
• Authentication Method: Normal Password

Redtail Webmail settings in Android:

1. Click on Settings.

2. Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP.

3. Click on Add a new account (under the IMAP heading).

4. Enter the Redtail username in the Username field, and enter the Redtail password in the Password field.

5. Under IMAP server settings, select Use custom IMAP server settings.

6. Next, ensure the following are set:

• Server name: mail.redtailtechnology.com (No security)
• Server Port: 993 (Secure connection port)
• Username: Redtail username@redtailtechnology.com (Can be firstname.lastname@redtailtechnology.com)
• Connection Security: SSL/TLS or None (No security)
• Authentication Method: Normal Password

7. Lastly, ensure the following are set under SMTP settings:

• Server name: mail.redtailtechnology.com (No security)
• Server Port: 465, 587, or 25 (Secure connection port)
• Username: Redtail username@redtailtechnology.com (Can be firstname.lastname@redtailtechnology.com)
• Connection Security: SSL/TLS or None (No security)
• Authentication Method: Normal Password

8. Press Next step; Redtail will verify the settings are correct before continuing. When Redtail confirms the settings are proper, it will display, “The server configured below is currently being used to check your email.” Under this message, Redtail shows the current Redtail Webmail login credentials. Redtail will now be ready to use within Redtail Mobile mail.

9. Enter the Redtail username and Redtail password, then press Sign In. Redtail Webmail is now open for your use. Simply click on the email you wish to read or reply to.

Redtail Webmail settings in iPhone:

1. Go to Settings and select “Mail.”

2. Select Add Account, and select Other.

3. Select: IMAP

4. Hostname: mail.redtailtechnology.com

• User Name: Redtail username@redtailtechnology.com (Can be firstname.lastname@redtailtechnology.com)
• Use SSL: Yes
• Authentication: Normal Password

5. Password: Redtail password

6. Once done, press Save at the top right corner of the iPhone. It should now successfully connect to the Redtail webmail inbox in your iPhone!

– Contacts: To access Redtail contacts, go to Redtail and select Contacts.

– Folders: To access Redtails folders, go to Redtail and select Folders.

– Subfolders: Go to Redtail and click on Mailbox, then click on Folders. Redtail contact the Redtail Subfolder option under Redtail; Redtail folders will only show Redtails Redtail folders and Redtails contacts.

– Calendars: Go to Redtail and select Calendar.
